Peter Harris

Peter founded The Harris Agency in September 2017 after spending nearly 25 years perfecting his skill in reputation and issues management. Having managed and protected reputations for some of the most admired and disruptive companies in the world, Peter offers clients extreme senior level counsel, a keen understanding of today’s world of influence and risks, and a “get shit done” kind of attitude. Consistently recognized by ROI-NJ on its ROI Influencers Power List, Peter is proud to apply all of his insights and efforts toward helping clients solve their internal and external issues.

 

In his role as CEO of Grayling US, Peter was responsible for all operational, financial and growth activities that stretched across 9 offices. In addition, Peter was the senior corporate and reputation specialist, leading accounts for Fortune 500 companies across consumer product, technology, retail banking sectors and among others.

 

​Prior to joining Grayling, Peter spent seven years at MSLGroup where he served in roles including North America Corporate Practice lead, Global Engagement Director for United Technologies, and head of the agency’s Strategic Partnerships and Alliances. Prior to joining MSLGROUP, Peter ran the global IBM account at Ketchum and founded the agency’s Financial Services Group, which catered to financial services companies and offered communications support to publicly traded entities such as Direct Energy, Nokia, and JPMorgan Chase.

Peter is an avid fan of good cigars, golf and lacrosse. He and his wife Cathi live in Boonton Township, NJ and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and are the proud grandparents of a new grandson.
